Let’s do that morning exercise!

I am not at all a morning person and doing regular morning exercise is sometimes difficult for me. The first thought that pops into my mind even before I get out of bed, is coffee. I make the coffee, take a quick shower and then I take my laptop and start working, with my best friend coffee of course. 

I do know how important it would be to start the day with some light exercise. It would make the whole day much easier and more pleasant. So I’m trying. How do you motivate yourself to do some exercise first in the morning, or do you struggle like me?

My favorite morning exercises

When I do manage to start my morning with exercise, one of my favorite videos is Yoga With Adriene’s Morning yoga flow. It takes about 20 minutes, and it kickstarts the day with a positive vibe. 

If I feel I don’t have 20 minutes time for a workout, or I am really low in energy, I do this Yoga With Bird’s 5 minutes morning yoga. For a more upbeat workout, I choose MadFit’s 10 minutes routine. Mostly I do this during my workday because I feel I’m not able to push myself right after I have woken up. It’s a great break exercise instead of scrolling through social media. That one thing I do way too much.
