2 lb / 900 g pork loin / kassler
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter.
1 tsp salt
6 bay leafs
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
12 whole black peppers
Directions
- Take the pork out of the fridge one hour before cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 300°F / 150°C.
- Rub the olive oil or butter on the meat.
- Crush garlic cloves and rub it on the meat.
- Mix salt, ginger, nutmeg, and ground cloves in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice mix well on the meat.
- Put meat, bay leaves, and black peppers into an oven dish with a lid.
- Cook for 4 hours.
- Shred the meat right away after taking it out of the oven.
