The benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar, true or false? Apple cider vinegar drink is definitely not a miracle drink that would melt all fat away or allow you to eat bad foods without consequences. But studies show that it can provide some effective health benefits when consumed regularly.
As said, much as with anything else either, you can’t expect a sudden miracle of improved health or weight loss. In order to work, it should be consumed every day for weeks. Although every time you drink ACV with water, it is of course one step towards its possible advantages.
You shouldn’t consume apple cider vinegar raw, always dilute it to water or unsweetened juice. Also, there are no benefits of taking a bigger dosage and you never should drink ACV drink more than recommended.
ACV does not have that many nutrients, but if used regularly it may have several important health benefits.
Possible benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar drink (always diluted):
- Help with weight loss – drink one glass before each meal you eat.
- Improve gut health and digestion.
- Help to detox and cleanse your body.
- Reduce inflammation.
- Fights infections.
- Fights diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes.
- Can help fight cravings for sweets.
Recipe:
- A big glass of fresh water
- 2 tsp ACV, use organic unfiltered
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- optional: pinch of good quality salt
- Enjoy 1-3 times a day before meals
If the taste is not to your liking at first, make the drink more diluted until you get used to it. You can also add some 100% cranberry or pomegranate juice.
